17th Annual Candlelight Tours at the Old City Cemetery and Museums'

Lynchburg’s favorite fall event is back for it’s 17th Season! Join us for this year’s Candlelight Tours and follow your Spirit Guide on a journey through time as you encounter real-life cemetery residents from beyond the grave! Our candle-lit grounds are not intended to frighten our guests, but rather to immerse them in this living history event. This year’s line-up of cemetery personalities will leave you mesmerized as they move you to laughter and tears. Then, stop into our History Room to see photos and research, and enjoy cookies and cider.
This is a walking tour throughout the cemetery by candlelight if you are unsure of your footing or abilities please consider the matinee options which are very nice.
