Achieve Celebrating 60 Years of Service

Achieve of Central Virginia celebrates its 60th year of operation with a renewed mission, new look, and an open-house event. Formally known as Lynchburg Sheltered Industries or LSI, the non-profit's strategic mission is to assist people with disabilities or disadvantages to achieve greater independence and self-esteem through structured programs, vocational training, and employment services. 
Achieve invites the public to celebrate its milestone by attending its open-house event at 3120 Odd Fellows Road, Lynchburg, Virginia, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet some of Achieve's participants and staff and enjoy food from Val's Catering. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 9:15 am and facilitated by the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance.
