Business Development Representative

James River Media LLC is considering applications for a Business Development Representative working with our sales team. Our ideal candidate should possess a very strong work ethic, be organized, have a “hunter” mentality when searching for prospects, the ability to NOT take the word “no” personally and have a desire to grow professionally. This is an entry level sales position. Responsibilities Include: • Have an understanding of who our clients are, and conduct research through search engines, CRM, and other media to identify those prospects. • Reaching out to prospects to schedule a meeting with a member of the sales team to discuss the products and services we offer. • Attend the meetings set with the sales rep to assist in the sales process. • Managing and coordinating the calendars of the sales team and properly scheduling the appointments as they are set Qualifications: • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Willingness to take initiative and follow through on projects • The ability to make a high volume of phone dials and overcome objections. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs • Creative and strategic problem solver. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Experience with CRM software preferred. • Excellent ability to research qualified prospects. • Have “thick skin” and be able to take “no” for an answer
